SCOTUS is wrong. Conversion "therapy" is neither therapy, nor free speech. Conversion "therapy" is a targeted, hateful, harmful practice that is NOT empirically driven, evidence-based science. It uses guilt, shame, fear, humiliation, and exhaustion to force an individual to "choose" to adopt the desired behavior before the process will end. It is literally torture.

If you receive Medicaid in Michigan through a managed care plan, please be advices that effective October 1, 2024, your plan MAY be leaving your county, and you MAY be required to select a new plan. Medicaid will be sending information out to those enrolled in plans leaving their county starting August 26, 2024, and members will have until September 17, 2024 to pick a new plan. You will want to watch for a YELLOW piece of paper with "Michigan Enrolls" on it. In the event that a member fails to select a plan before September 18, 2024, the member will be auto-assigned a new plan.

Please note: Peace of Mind CCS will be working diligently over the next several months to panel with the new Medicaid options coming to Ingham County, including AETNA, HAP, and UnitedHealthcare. Ingham County is reported to be losing Meridian, Molina, and BCC. The only managed care plan that will NOT be changing at this time is McLaren Medicaid. Again, McLaren Medicaid will be the only managed care plan we can accept until new paneling is complete.
