Next Level Connections! A Healthy Relationships Class
A class for high school and young adult participants that focuses on different aspects of romantic relationships and tailored to neurodivergent individuals.

The first portion of the curriculum begins the following topics
◾Relationships in my life and identifying Healthy Relationships
◾Decision Making
◾Understanding consent
◾Being in/defining a relationship, knowing if you are ready?
◾Public vs. Private
◾From friend to partner/sweetheart?

The second portion of the curriculum moves on to talk about the following topics pertaining specifically to s*x education:
◾Anatomy of private areas and caring for your body
◾Puberty, and its impact on s*xual feelings
◾Decision making and safe practices when being intimate
◾An introduction to reproduction

The Missouri Women's Business Center is excited to announce the upcoming opening of a Childcare Business Recovery grant to create additional childcare spots in Columbia. Eligible entities can access up to $10,000 to expand their current level of childcare services. These funds were awards by the City of Columbia and administered by the Housing and Community Development Commission.

This grant will open on Monday, December 6 at 9am and close on Wednesday, December 8 at 5pm.

Eligibility Qualifications include:
-Childcare business must be located within City of Columbia city limits
-Must be licensed and have opened prior to March 15, 2020.
-Business must be owned or employ low-to-moderate income households (see release for full details)
