In a community like ours, we take care of each other. ❤️
Every day, hospitals in the Greater Kansas City region use over 600 pints of blood and plasma to care for patients across more than 70 hospitals.
But here’s something many people don’t realize…
Blood has a very short shelf life.
* Red blood cells last about 42 days
* Platelets only 5–7 days
It can’t be stockpiled for long. It has to come from people willing to give consistently.
The good news is your body is designed for this.
In about 56–58 days, your blood is fully replenished, and you can donate again.
It’s one of the few things we can give that truly costs us nothing…
but can mean everything to someone else.
And the truth is if you or someone you love ever needs blood,
it will only be there because someone else took the time to give.
Please join us and save a life today. Our next blood drive is:
🩸 May 28th, 2026 from 10am to 2pm
📍 Holton Community Hospital & Holton Community Theatre
Walk-ins are always welcome, and we are grateful for every donor.
If you’re able to schedule ahead, it helps our team prepare and care for you even better.
