Weight loss isn’t one-size-fits-all — and it never should be.

At Holton Community Hospital, Lee Schnee approaches weight management through obesity medicine, using the Four Pillars of Weight Management to guide individualized care plans.

The Four Pillars of Weight Management include:
• Nutrition
• Physical activity
• Behavioral modification
• Medication and surgery (when appropriate)

These pillars help determine the right combination of care for each patient, including whether additional support—such as nutrition counseling, psychotherapy, physical therapy, or other specialty referrals—may be beneficial. They also guide follow-up schedules to support long-term success.

"Obesity is the number one health risk factor of our time. Addressing excess weight is complex and takes much more than being told to ‘eat less, move more.’ My goal is to understand why someone struggles with weight and tailor recommendations in a way that works for their life.”
— Dr. Lee Schnee

You are not alone—and help in our county is now easier to find than ever.

We’re excited to share a new mental health resource now available right here in our county 💙

Together 4 Tomorrow (T4T) is a coalition of local mental health providers and nonprofit organizations working together to connect our community with support, services, and hope. They’ve created an easy-to-use online app that brings trusted mental health resources together in one place—whether you’re looking for help for yourself, a loved one, or someone you serve.

If you or someone you know could use mental health support, take a moment to explore and share this resource:
