🎉Today we celebrate International Women’s Day and the incredible impact women have in healthcare and in our communities.

As a woman-owned business, Psychological Health Services is proud to be part of a profession where women show up every day with compassion, expertise, and a deep commitment to helping others heal and thrive.

Women make up the majority of the mental health workforce, and their dedication continues to shape a more compassionate, informed, and accessible system of care. At the same time, women are also increasingly choosing to invest in their own mental health; seeking therapy, doing the hard work of healing, and modeling for the next generation that caring for your mind is just as important as caring for your body.

From clinicians and nurses to advocates, mothers, daughters, leaders, and clients doing their own healing work, women play a vital role in strengthening the well-being of individuals, families, and communities.

Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, and leadership of women everywhere. Thank you for your expertise, your strength, the care you give, the healing you pursue, and the difference you make every day. 💜

💬 We’d love to hear from you:

🎨🧸 Happy Play Therapy Week!

Toys + Play + Therapist = Feelings expressed, words discovered, and healing in action.

🧠Play therapy is more than just fun. It is a safe space where children can:
• Show emotions they cannot yet put into words
• Build confidence, problem-solving skills, and social-emotional growth
• Heal from stress, trauma, or big life changes

🪁This week, we celebrate the power of play and how it helps kids grow from the inside out. 💜

🧠 We Need Your Voice. Help Shape Mental Health Support in Our Community

Our JACO mental health coalition, Together 4 Tomorrow, is working to grow mental health awareness, education, and su***de prevention efforts. To do that well, we need to hear directly from you.

We are asking community members to take a few minutes to complete our Mental Health Needs Survey so we can better understand what support and resources people actually want and need right now.

📊 Our goal: 250 more responses
⏱️ Time to complete: Just a few minutes
💬 Why it matters: Your feedback helps guide real programs, real outreach, and real change in our community.

Whether you have struggled personally, supported someone you love, or simply care about mental health, your voice matters.

👉 Take the survey here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1M2TUGHPrT37m19-bf7JNX8oXGGMKEpa7rQHCbyqDkm4/viewform?edit_requested=true

🙏 Please share this post so we can reach more people and more perspectives.

Together, we can build support that truly reflects our community.

14 years of showing up for our community 💜🎉

We are incredibly grateful and so proud of what this team and this community have built together. None of this happens in isolation. It happens because of trust, collaboration, and a shared belief that mental health care matters.

Here is what those 14 years look like in action 👇

✨ 14 years serving our community in mental health and wellness
🧠 20,000+ hours of meaningful, healing work with clients
🌱 Growing local employment opportunities for new therapists
🎓 Mentoring youth interested in future mental health careers
📚 Community mental health education and outreach
🤝 Clinical supervision for therapists beyond our organization
💛 Giving back through donations to local youth and wellness organizations
📚 Ongoing learning, advanced training, and skill development so our providers can be the best practitioners possible

🌳Evidence-based care. Deep community roots. Steady, intentional growth.
