Our 3rd annual all-staff Holiday Party brought out the best of who Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital is. Our talented dietary team crafted some yummy homemade food. Our Activity and People Services team pumped out hundreds of long-sleeve t-shirts to give to the masses. Holiday music filled the air, while a hot chocolate bar warmed us all up. Let's not forget to mention Dawn's scrumptious chocolate cream pie.

The Leadership Team wishes all a Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Festivus, or whatever else all celebrate this time of year, to you and your families.

To the Valley Springs team, thank you for ALL you do for patient and peers. We are lucky to have you on our team, serving our patients.

The Valley Funshine Crew, our Team Member led and driven Employee Engagement Committee at Valley Springs, is over the moon excited to announce our:



Valley Funshine Crew Employee Engagement Team’s “People’s Choice Award” DECEMBER 2025.



The Valley Funshine Crew was formed in early 2025, gathering Team Members and some Leaders together to develop a fun, engaging, Team Member driven Employee Engagement initiatives to deliver a healthy workplace culture and a place people want to work, and a place people want to come and work. Our team, during brainstorming sessions, suggested our committee nominate, select, and celebrate a Team Member, once monthly, who has been a peer “to count on,” with sights set on our Core Values of:

-Champion Patient Care

-Do the Right Thing

-Embrace Individuality

-Act with Kindness

-Make a Difference Together



After nominations from this committee were sought, BRIAN MARAGLIA, BHT on our Kids Sunrise Unit, was selected as our December 2025’s recipient of this prestigious award.
