Melissa Memorial Hospital was proud to host the NECO-S.T.I.R. (Share, Talk, Interact, Remember) event today, bringing together over 100 first responders, healthcare professionals, educators, and community partners from across Eastern Colorado.

NECO-S.T.I.R. focuses on strengthening substance use and mental health support by improving communication, sharing resources, and building stronger connections across our region.

At MMH, we are proud to support this work through our mental health services and Acute Withdrawal Management Program, providing compassionate care and support close to home.

We were able to strengthen collaboration, improve coordination, and help ensure we are prepared to support both our patients and those on the front lines.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Holyoke High School students to Melissa Memorial Hospital today for Career Day.

Students had the opportunity to get a closer look at what a career in healthcare can look like, explore different roles across the hospital, and connect with our team. From clinical care to support services, healthcare offers a wide range of meaningful career paths right here in our community.
