Tomorrow is the kickoff for $4 for 4-H! Help us turn Banks County green by donating to our 4-H organization. Every dollar raised helps us make the best better by offering many growth opportunities to youth in Banks County! This year, we will celebrate $4 for 4-H with a new four-day format, so that means you will have FOUR days to help us reach our goal!

Our fundraising goal for Banks County this year is $2,500! If we reach our goal, our students will get to slime our Extension Staff.
Here’s the lineup:
🍀At $444, our CEC and FACS Agent Ms. Susie gets slimed!
🍀At $1,000, our 4-H Educator Ms. Madison gets slimed!
🍀At $1,800, our ANR Agent Mr. Joshua gets slimed!
🍀At $2,500, our 4-H Agent Ms. Macy gets slimed!

All donations can be made at www.georgia4h.org/four beginning at midnight tonight! The link will be live Wednesday, April 1st – Saturday, April 4th! When donating, be sure to select “Banks” so our county receives credit. If we hit our goal, our extension staff will be slimed at the 4-H End-of-Year Party in May! Spotted lanternflies are an invasive species in Georgia, and this month marks the start of their hatching from egg masses. These egg masses, often found on tree trunks and branches, appear grayish and muddy. Keep an eye out for tiny nymphs that are black with white spots. Early detection is vital for managing this invasive pest.
