The Palace Gardens welcomed the Year of the Horse in unforgettable fashion during a vibrant Chinese New Year celebration filled with culture, energy and joy. Residents and guests enjoyed the excitement of traditional lion dancers, dazzling performances from a soaring stiltwalker and a festive atmosphere illuminated by glowing lanterns and lively music. Delicious Chinese cuisine and specialty lychee martinis added to the evening’s celebration as friends gathered to honor tradition and welcome a year of prosperity, happiness and new beginnings together.

Love filled the room at our Valentine’s Day Party! ❤️ Guests were welcomed into a festive setting filled with hearts, bows and sweet details that set the tone for a joyful celebration. A surprise visit from Cupid added a fun twist, bringing plenty of laughter and a few blushes along the way.

Everyone enjoyed playful caricature portraits, captured memories at the photobooth and danced the afternoon away to live music by Bayview Band. From start to finish, it was a celebration of connection, friendship and the simple joy of being together! 💕✨

In honor of Presidents’ Day, residents enjoyed a festive visit from presidential look-alikes representing George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, bringing history to life in the most entertaining way. 🇺🇸 From patriotic décor to lively conversations and plenty of photo moments, the afternoon was filled with appreciation for the leaders who helped shape our nation. For Jose, it was simple: “When I laid eyes on her, it was love at first sight. There was no convincing needed. I knew she was the one.”

Luisa felt it too. “There was an immediate spark… and here we are today, totally in love.”

Their dating days were filled with tradition: asking parents for permission, always having a chaperone, and movie dates carefully supervised by her father. “We couldn’t even hold hands without getting yelled at,” Luisa laughed. “It’s humorous to think about now.”

After all these years, their advice is timeless: respect one another, be honest, give each other space to grow and always find your way back together.

Some love stories don’t need chapters, just a few beautiful moments.

When Donald first met Regina, he admits it “took time to convince” himself she was the one, but he says it was absolutely worth it. Regina, however, had her eye on him from the start. “I knew he was a possibility… I just had to make sure he behaved!”

He made the first move, sweeping her off her feet with classic movie theater dates and old-fashioned romance.

After all these years, their secret is simple: love, respect, trust and feeling grateful every day to be with the person you love.

Baby, it’s cold outside! ❄️ Guests stepped into a golden Winter Wonderland filled with towering Christmas pines, oversized ornaments, and holiday magic at every turn. Delicious bites paired perfectly with a signature seasonal cocktail, setting the tone for a festive afternoon.

The celebration featured Mr. and Mrs. Claus, a surprise visit from the Grinch, and a very special appearance by Endo, our beloved therapy dog, who proudly took on the role of Santa’s sleigh leader 🐾🛷. It was a joyful, laughter-filled celebration that truly captured the spirit of the season. 🎄✨

This year, we celebrated big! Residents and families came together for a festive Thanksgiving feast filled with all the classics: savory turkey, hearty sides, sweet holiday treats, and a Maple Street Old Fashioned that tasted like fall in a glass. And the fun didn’t stop there! Our celebration included a full petting zoo, adorable pony rides, and even a chance to meet a live turkey.

Everyone arrived ready to fill their plates and left with full hearts, full stomachs, and memories to cherish.

The Palace Gardens proudly partnered with Three Virtues Organization, a dedicated social service provider in Homestead focused on family support, prevention, and intervention. Together, we joined their mission to uplift local households through monthly food and hygiene distributions that serve nearly 100–150 families in our community.

This Thanksgiving season, our team made a special, festive donation to help fill their pantry shelves and brighten dinner tables with gratitude and dignity.
