We’re committed to staying actively involved—whether it’s through community events, educational outreach, or supporting local fundraisers, scholarships, and initiatives that help expand access to and understanding of EMS across our region.

Today, we had the honor of providing lunch to the incredible dispatchers at the Citrus County Sheriff's Office in recognition of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week!!

These men and women are the calm voices in the chaos, the unseen FIRST first responders who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the Citrus County community safe. Their dedication, professionalism and ability to handle the toughest moments without hesitation never go unnoticed.

We hope you all enjoyed the barbecue spread from Crystal River Smokehouse, it was the least we could do to show our appreciation. Also, the “carnival” themed dispatch center was pretty awesome to see as well!

From all of us at E-Care Ambulance, thank you for everything you do… not just this week but every single day. Your voices make a difference and your impact reaches FAR beyond the headset.

We want to extend our sincere appreciation to our own E-Care Dispatch teams, whose hard work behind the phones, radios, and screens helps ensure every transport is coordinated safely, efficiently, and with the highest level of professionalism.

We also want to recognize the outstanding dispatchers at Citrus County, MCSO - Florida Keys, Palm Beach County and the multiple municipalities within, for their incredible work they do day in and day out in support of public safety across our communities

Whether coordinating emergency responses or serving as the vital communication link between crews, facilities and the public, these professionals are often the unseen voices that make everything possible.

Proud shoutout to one of our Palm Beach County crews for safely completing a long-distance transport from Palm Beach, Florida, to Cleveland, Ohio.

This trip took a dedicated team of 4 providers whose commitment, professionalism, and patient-focused care made it possible to get the patient to their destination safely. We are incredibly grateful for the hard work, long hours, and sacrifice our crews make to ensure patients receive the care and transportation they need, no matter the distance.

At E-Care Ambulance, we are proud to provide long-distance transportation from our service areas to destinations across the country. When patients and families need safe, reliable transport beyond the local area, our team is ready to go the extra mile.

E-Care Ambulance was honored to attend the College of Central Florida's EMS building remodel ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday.

It was a great opportunity to connect with EMT and Paramedic students, along with the community which included leaders and local officials who helped make this incredible project possible. The newly remodeled $7 million facility brings much-needed EMS education and training resources to our region, including state-of-the-art equipment, simulation rooms, a training ambulance, virtual reality learning, and more.

We are especially proud to be one of CF’s designated clinical sites, where EMT and Paramedic students will be able to complete clinical hours alongside our talented crews. Investing in the future of EMS matters, and we believe progress only happens when organizations are willing to step beyond the status quo and help raise the standard for everyone.

As we recently passed our one-year anniversary of serving Citrus County, we remain proud to be the first private ambulance service in this region to introduce advanced clinical capabilities that go far beyond what this community, like many others, had previously come to expect—and we continue to lead that effort today. From new ambulances, to Hamilton T1 ventilators, i-STAT point-of-care testing, multi-site dynamic invasive line monitoring, continuous core temperature monitoring, Treat-In-Place, Traumatic Brain Injury Dashboard analytics with ongoing monitoring, and telemedicine capabilities, to a medication formulary of more than 50 medications, our focus has always been on bringing meaningful advancement to prehospital care.

But to us, it has never been only about equipment and capabilities. It is also about showing up, staying involved, and giving back to the same community we serve and many live in. E-Care Ambulance proudly participates in community events, fundraisers, sponsorships, and educational outreach month after month because being part of the community should mean more than simply operating in it.

We are grateful to serve Citrus County and excited to see the impact CF’s new EMS facility will have in developing the next generation of EMS professionals.

We would like to take a moment to thank Citrus County Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 4562 for hosting this year’s Citrus Slam fundraiser fishing event yesterday! It was a great time for an amazing cause as we came together to honor the life and legacy of Citrus County Fire Rescue Captain Michael Fletcher.

Thank you for allowing us to once again sponsor this event and for continuing to welcome us into the community. Being part of an event that honors Captain Michael Fletcher’s life and legacy was truly meaningful to all of us, and it was inspiring to see so many people come together in his memory. Congratulations to all of this year’s winners, and thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a heartfelt and memorable success.
