SMDI is owned and operated by our very own Capt. Michael Herron MD. Dr. Herron opened Sugar Mill Diagnostic Imaging in March 2008 with a vision to help people and make a difference in Citrus County. Being that he is a medical doctor he likes to provide other tests including biopsies, arthrograms, examinations after an auto accident or slip and fall, barium swallows, nursing student physicals and a weight loss clinic. We have the imaging here at the office so to save the folks from having to go to the hospital. SMDI has ALL of your imaging needs. Walk in X-Ray’s, Monday - Friday 8:30- 4:00. Call to schedule for Mammograms, Ultrasounds, MRI Scans, Bone Density, Echo’s, CT Scans, Barium swallows, Arthrograms, Thyroid & Breast Biopsies and Upper GI’s. If you or a loved one has been in an Auto accident or had a slip or fall and need to be seen by a doctor or need imaging we conveniently accept all auto insurances and all health insurance plans except for prestige.
