Happy Valentine's Day from all of us at Ellen!
We had a spectacular afternoon when our friends from K9 Freedom came for a visit with Cornbread and Esther.
These therapy dogs visited everyone with a hug, and Cornbread snout-delivered a personal card and long-stemmed rose to the lap of each resident.
It was the BEST day!
Thank you to this amazing organization and Anne Dame for putting this all together.

Sunday's game was a fur frenzy! Team Fluff took home the prestigious "Puppy Bowl" award. Our residents enjoyed some appetizers as they watched the fur fly!

It was Elvis' birthday, so the residents at Ellen wanted to pay tribute...
We enjoyed one of his favorites...peanut butter, bacon, and banana sandwiches, watched his Las Vegas show, and got a visit from "The King" himself!!!!

Merry Christmas from all of us at Ellen Memorial!
Santa came with Maggie the elf to visit every resident and give them a present and a song. Meanwhile, local musicians led by David F. played their hearts out during our winter storm.

Thank you to the students, teachers, and parents from St. Dominic's in Honesdale. They prepared a beautiful selection of Christmas carols and toured the facility spreading joy.

A great, big, THANK YOU to the Narrowsburg Knights of Columbus and Friends for bringing so much joy to our residents at Ellen.
This team of amazing volunteers created a winter wonderland with coffee, donuts, pudding, presents, cards, and scratch offs for everyone. They played music and met with each resident to spread some holiday cheer.
We are so grateful for these beautiful community members.
