Anul acesta, la Gala Zetta, am acordat în premieră Rising Star Award for International Medical Excellence and Contribution to the Advancement of Medicine in Romania. Premiantii au fost dr. Dr. Daniel Murariu (University of Hawaii, Hawaii Aesthetics & Robotic Plastic Surgery, foto stânga), dr. Vlad Pieptu și dr. Maximilian Muntean (foto dreapta). Cei trei au realizat, în premieră pentru România și Europa de Est, recoltarea cu ajutorul unui robot chirurgical Da Vinci a unor lambouri DIEP, folosite în cadrul unor reconstrucții de sân la Iași și Cluj. Dr. Daniel Murariu este un lider mondial în chirurgia reconstructivă robotică, fiind editorul Atlas of Robotic Reconstructive Procedures in Plastic Surgery.
