Over the weekend, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Royal Hawaiian Band to our community! 🎶 They brought incredible music, powerful live vocals, and beautiful hula performances that made the day extra special!

We had such a fun and heartwarming visit last week!🩵 Students from Hoʻōla Music & Cultural Arts School came to spend time with our kūpuna here at The Ivy—and it was truly something special.

Through their Hawaiʻi Loa Spring Intercessiond program, the keiki shared music, creativity, and aloha all inspired by the theme, “Rooted in Culture. Growing through Music.” It was amazing to see these young learners connecting, laughing, and bringing so much joy while embracing Hawaiian values.

The smiles, the songs, and the stories—such a beautiful reminder of how powerful connection across generations can be.

🍀What a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day Celebration!🍀

Yesterday was filled with festive fun from start to finish! Our residents kicked off the day getting creative with St. Patty’s crafts, decorating cookies, and making colorful jello cups!

In the evening, our Mauka and Makai communities celebrated a lively Pau Hana event featuring live music, great company, and plenty of island-style cheer.

We’re definitely feeling the love this Valentine’s Day! 💕

Our celebration was filled with delicious treats and even sweeter company. Cooking Club created pudding parfait cups, we dipped strawberries in rich chocolate (a Valentine’s must! 🍓🍫), and a spirited game of Valentine’s Bingo sparked plenty of friendly competition.

So many smiles, so much laughter, and a whole lot of love made it a truly memorable day. ❤️
