Update on Progress: Oceanside Upper Parking Lots Limited

Progress Update:

We are making great strides with the repaving of the TAMC Oceanside parking lots. The Oceanside Upper parking lots are now being paved to improve the quality and accessibility of our facilities.

Different sections of the parking lot will be closed off, and we appreciate your patience as we work to enhance our facilities. Please continue to pay attention to posted signs regarding parking.

Did you know you can get a virtual appointment for sick call? You can even get a sick slip but check your command’s sick call policy. There are some limitations, especially overseas and in training locations.

Save time and avoid exposing others if you are sick!

To get a virtual sick call appointment, contact your medical provider through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal or call the medical facility where you are enrolled.

📢 Reminder: Extended Wait Times at TAMC and WOMH Pharmacies📢

We’re upgrading this weekend! Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) and Warrior Ohana Medical Home (WOMH) are transitioning to a new pharmacy software system this weekend, March 6-7.

On March 8, patients may experience extended wait times of up to two hours as we finalize the transition. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

Ambient listening is an available at Tripler Army Medical Center! This voice recognition technology will assist your provider with notes, so the provider can focus on your care.

You must provide verbal consent before providers can use ambient listening during medical appointments. By taking care of the note taking in the background, ambient listening supports you with engaging more fully with providers, resulting in more personalized care and better outcomes.

Once reviewed for accuracy by the provider, clinical notes are promptly integrated into your electronic health record, supporting transparency and timely access of information.

You can expect to experience a greater sense of connection with your provider since the tool allows providers to fully engage in uninterrupted conversation with patients. Ambient listening technology creates greater opportunities for providers to spend more face-to-face time with you and less time populating notes during medical appointments.

🌟Congratulations Spc. Antonia Arras! 🌟

Arras has been recognized at the highest level for enlisted pharmacy technicians, earning the Larry C. Nesmith Enlisted Technician Award for exceptional technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to patient safety on Feb. 4.

Spc. Antonia Arras, hailing from El Paso, TX, is an inpatient and oncology pharmacy technician at TAMC. She was selected for the prestigious Army-wide award in recognition of her critical contributions to pharmacy operations supporting more than 173,000 beneficiaries across the Hawaii Indo-Pacific region.
