Plaza Assisted Living communities offer Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Extended

The Plaza Assisted Living began with our first community, The Plaza at Punchbowl, which opened its doors in January 2004. Our second community, The Plaza at Mililani, welcomed residents in February of 2010 followed by The Plaza at Moanalua, which opened in the Fall of 2012. Our fourth, fifth and sixth Assisted Living communities, The Plaza at Pearl City, Waikiki and Kaneohe, opened in the Fall of 2014, 2015 and the summer of 2019 respectively.

To close out our National Activity Professionals Week celebration, we are proud to recognize the Activities team at The Plaza at Kaneohe, led by Activity Director Aleta.

Alongside Aleta, team members Jennifer, Keely, JoJo, Del, and Addie bring creativity, patience, and heart to every day. Through hands on activities, shared laughter, and meaningful one on one moments, they help residents feel connected, supported, and truly at home.

These moments reflect the heart of The Plaza Life wellness program, where joyful engagement, stress reduction, and genuine relationships are part of everyday life. Mahalo to Aleta and the entire Kaneohe Activities team for the care and aloha you bring to our community.

Continuing our National Activity Professionals Week celebration, we are grateful for the amazing Activities team at The Plaza at Pearl City.

From Kaesha’s energetic taiko performance, Abyjane’s painting class, and Catherine’s hands on Honolulu Zoo artifacts, to Bryan pounding mochi at a mochitsuki festival outing, each experience brought connection and joy. Danicah shared a special zoo visit, Kyra hosted Cooking Corner with Sweet Chili Edamame, and Ashleen led intergenerational gingerbread decorating with Pearl City High School.

These moments reflect the heart of The Plaza Life wellness program, where creativity, movement, and community come together every day.

As part of our National Activity Professionals Week celebration, we are highlighting a special SingFit experience led by Sophie, Activity Director, and Memory, Activity Assistant, at The Plaza at Moanalua.

During this session, residents took a musical journey through favorite songs from years past. SingFit is a music based program that encourages singing, connection, and joyful engagement, helping residents feel relaxed, present, and connected through familiar melodies.

Moments like these reflect the heart of The Plaza Life wellness program, where stress reduction, emotional wellbeing, and meaningful shared experiences are part of everyday life. Mahalo to Sophie and Memory for creating such a warm and uplifting experience for our residents.

We also congratulate Robert Tabije, our Driver and recent Employee of the Month. Robert plays an essential role in keeping residents connected to appointments, outings, and everyday experiences, always with kindness and a welcoming smile.
