Spring is springing here in Colorado Springs, but we may also get 2 feet of snow in the next two months. One of the many fun things about teaching yoga is creating a playlist to fit the vibe. Here is a playlist for the spring equinox, but because I am the way that I am, we are off by a few days. :) Spring creeps in and pounces. She’s like a watched pot, that won’t boil until you look away. Spring encourages us to take deep breaths to renew our spirits. Spring mix is an ingredient in many salads as well, so you can also use this playlist for eating crunchy vegetables.

Using yoga and tai chi when hustling at 6000 ft above sea level. You can get places just as fast when you relax and breathe a little, because slow is smooth and smooth is fast.
- stomping doesn’t help you get anywhere faster.

Happy 24 Year Surgerversary to all those who celebrate! (Part 3)
Long story short: I had surgery, it changed my life, but it could have been worse, so I shouldn’t complain, right? (Joke’s on you, I’m from New England and we love to complain.)
Watch or listen for the whole story, but… be kind to others and be kind to yourself. You don’t have to be the perfect poster child for surviving. You don’t have to “overcome” your disability. You can just be. That’s a nice way to be good to yourself.
