Dentistry today is better than Aristocrats in the Past
An article on X by Archeohistories described the dental work by dentist during the Renaissance period on wealthy aristocrats. A 17th Century French aristocrat, Anne d’Alègre (1565–1619) was found to have a gold wire brace to keep her teeth in alignment in the presence of severe dental problems. Today, many of our patients have better treatment than the uber wealthy of the past.
