Coming up Hawaii LMTs 3 CE hours of cupping and Red Cross Adult and pediatric CPR and first aid.

Monday Feb 16 at Manoa public library. Only $125 for the 3 hour Massage Cupping basics class from 10am-1pm and $95-$120 for CPR with or without first aid from 2:30-5. You can also do a challenge course if you are confident in your skills and renewing without taking the whole class over again at 5:30. Pass a written and practical test and renew in as little as 45 minutes without repeating a class.

The same series will be offered Sunday April 26 if you don't need to renew you CPR yet. More Spring CE classes in Lomi Lomi, Hawaiian Hot stone and Hawaiian Massage for pregnancy coming soon.

Each day you will learn new exercises and massage techniques designed to harness the power of the elements. This massage is profoundly relaxing, creating a deep trance state to allow the receiver to identify and dissolve limiting beliefs that cause illness in the body.

9:30-12:30 Learn history, movement and Hawaiian massage techniques for the upper back
1:30-4:30 Learn Hawaiian massage techniques for the legs and feet. Make your pedicures stand out.
Jan. 31
9:30-12:30 Learn Hawaiian massage techniques for arms, hands and shoulders.
1:30-4:30 Learn techniques for abdomen, chest, head, neck and face.
Great hand saving techniques for those who give facials, manicures or massages.
Each 3 hour block NCBTMB Approved for 3 CEs. Take one or all lessons for up to 12 CE hours.

Start the New year with a write off trip to Hawaii for CE classes. January 28-29 10 hour Hawaiian Massage spa sampler class. Covers 2 hours of Lomilomi, 4 hours of Lomi for Pregnancy and 4 hours of Hawaiian Hot stone.

January 30-31 12 hour Introduction to Hawaiian Massage. Both classes are NCBTMB approved and the Intro class is broken into 3 hour classes that can be taken individually for CEs.

Foundations of flow, learn to use forearms, hands and movement to create fluid transitions.

Using the bones as levers to release tension in and around joints with minimal effort.

For centuries the ancient art of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage has been used as a powerful tool for maintaining a healthy way of life. The strokes are long and flowing, using forearms and elbows, and giving the feeling of many hands on the body at once.

Each day you will learn new exercises and massage techniques designed to harness the power of the elements. This massage is profoundly relaxing, creating a deep trance state to allow the receiver to identify and dissolve limiting beliefs that cause illness in the body.

You Will Learn:

The history and philosophy surrounding this work.
Breath and movement exercises to activate your energy potential.
Lomi Lomi massage techniques including a full body routine
Massage techniques to work with specific conditions and different body types.
Self-Lomi for honoring and maintaining your own body.
Most importantly you will gain powerful new tools to add to your healing practice in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

This class is only open to trained professional massage therapists and bodyworkers so you will never learn at the pace of or have to trade massage with an untrained partner. Massage therapists, PTs, OTs Chiropractors, Rolfers and professional bodyworkers with a foundational training in anatomy and hands on modalities welcome. Students who pass this course will receive a certificate for 20 NCBTMB CEUs.

This class is also approved for 20 CPD points with the CThA in the UK and Massage and Myotherapy Australia for students who want to take a trip to Hawaii and learn these valuable skills.

$595 Course price includes the class only. Students are responsible for their own meals, accommodations and transportation to the class. Students will pair up to give and receive hands on massage in this class.
