This patient gave our office a call last year and told us that her permanent dentures felt loose.

She told us that she could physically move here dentures back and forth in her mouth and that they almost felt like falling out when eating.

After a quick examination we realized that not only were her dentures loose but they had completely detached from her gum line!

All it took was a slight wiggle and small pull to completely remove the dentures in her mouth.

How does something like this happen you might ask?

Many people think that just because they get dentures, they don’t have to take care of their teeth. This is FAR from true!

In fact, permanent dentures need just as much if not more care then your real teeth! Especially when you think about the cost associated with getting dentures in the first place.

After removing our patients dentures we were able to come up with a plan to get her a new set of permanent teeth.

After all was said and done our patient was able to go home with a beautiful new smile!

Now she can eat without feeling like her teeth are falling out and smile like she used to.

Making a necklace out of extracted teeth has been a right of passage for Dentists ever since the first tooth was pulled!

It is a status symbol that has been used to show the skill in which a dentist can extract a tooth without breaking it.

Some dentists have been in practice for so long that their necklace could span the length of the United States and back!

These days however, most dentists only keep a small necklace to remind them of the right of passage they took to earn the title of Doctor of Dentistry.

Sometimes a dentist has to become a dermatologist in a manner is speaking.

Today our patient came to us complaining of pain and tenderness in their upper left gum line.

On further examination we realized the problem was a large abscess that was beginning to swell in their mouth!

Luckily the procedure to treat this was quick, easy and painless.

All it took was a small incision in the middle of the abscess, along with some gentle pressure and everything came spilling out!

Many of our consultations start with patients wanting to save money by using lower strength antisthetics and end with them experiencing pain during their procedure.

This leads to a bad experience for not only our patients but ourselves as dentists too!

This is your reminder to always brush your teeth after having your sweet treats.

This patient came to us in a lot of pain. She said her tooth felt loose and could feel it wiggling around in her mouth.

She couldn’t eat, could barely sleep and kept tasting iron when she swallowed.

After coming to our office we found out her tooth had split straight down the middle.

While this can happen to anyone by grinding your teeth, age or an accident. It usually happens when the teeth enamel become weakened by age or lack of care!

Luckily this patient is on her way to receiving a brand new implant that will make her smile again!
