Please help us spread the word of our 5th Free Surgery Day for patients in financial need!

WikiVision is proud to present our fifth annual surgery day, which will be held on September 7th, 2025! In furthering our goal of providing free cataract surgery to uninsured and underinsured members of our community, we have begun our search process to find candidates for this year’s procedures. If you are, or someone you know is, affected by cataracts and might be eligible, please contact us to schedule an evaluation. We are so thankful to our team of surgeons, Dr. Vivien Tham, Dr. William Wong Jr., and Dr. Mai Tsukikawa. We are also endlessly grateful to the Eye Surgery Center of Hawaii, as well as all of our donors. As we embark on the fifth year of our mission, we understand that none of this would be possible without the generous and continuous support of so many individuals. We look forward to another great year!

Congratulations to JABSOM's Vivien Tham, MD (Pacific Vision Institute of Hawaii) and her son Alexander, who co-authored a study recently published in JAMA. It will likely modify the future practice of conjunctivitis care! Read here: https://rebrand.ly/tham-jama

Today marked our third annual WikiVision Cataract Surgery Day! The WikiVision team was delighted to be helping those normally unable to afford this life changing procedure. We were able to restore the vision of over 30 patients this year, with help from our generous sponsors, in addition to the $40,000 raised by donations for this event! Thank you to Dr. Vivien Tham, Dr. Kenny Lee, and Dr. William Wong Jr. for performing the surgeries, to the Eye Surgery Center of Hawaii for providing the equipment, and to the staff and anesthesiologists volunteering their time and effort to help out today! This would not have been possible without the support of our most generous donors as well. We are still accepting support through donations at Wikivision.info
