You deserve to feel as comfortable as possible during IUD insertion and other sexual and reproductive health care procedures. At PPGNHAIK, we are working hard to expand options for pain relief at all of our health centers.

We offer local anesthesia — numbing around the cervix — and minimal sedation for IUD insertion at most of our health centers. Minimal sedation helps patients feel calmer and more comfortable while staying awake and responsive.
