Five years ago today, Dr. Megan joined Gateway Chiropractic as an independent contractor and quickly became an integral part of the practice. What began as a lighthearted joke—calling her Dr. Darren’s “retirement plan”—has truly come full circle.

Today, we’re proud to share that Dr. Megan is now the owner of Gateway Chiropractic. As she steps into this role, Dr. Darren is beginning to thoughtfully gear up for retirement, transitioning into an independent contractor position that allows for more flexibility while he continues caring for patients (and don’t worry—he’s not going anywhere anytime soon).

While a lot has changed over the past five years, including consolidating to one location, our foundation has remained the same: a commitment to providing consistent, high-quality care to each and every patient.

We’re incredibly grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us and look forward to continuing to serve this community for years to come.

We’ve recently heard a rumor we’d like to clear up following the closure of our Frankfort office.

There has been some confusion that Dr. Darren has retired — and we’re happy to share that this is not the case! While he has reduced his hours over the past few years as he gradually prepares for retirement, he is still actively practicing and continuing to accept new patients.

After 35 wonderful years in Frankfort, and after much thought and consideration, we have decided to consolidate our Frankfort office with our Honor location starting January 1,2026.

Dr. Megan and Dr. Darren will continue to provide chiropractic care to our community for years to come, and we look forward to welcoming
you in Honor.

Due to the unknown conditions winter storm Elliott can cause, for the saftey of our patients and ourselves our office will be closed today, Friday December 23rd.
