Bill has been serving American Seniors for 15 years in a variety of capacities- coordinator of Senior nutrition programs, rural and urban Senior services counselor, advocate and assisted living administrator. He studied the physical, social, psychological, spiritual and economic aspects of aging in America and other cultures and was awarded a Master of Arts in Gerontology from Eastern Illinois University (1998). Bill’s passion, very simply, is serving America’s greatest generation and their families

The Hoopeston Area retirees were hosted by Autumn Fields in Hoopeston and their Executive Director Emily Espinoza, and they all gathered at their dining room on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. The ladies enjoyed various beverages and cinnamon rolls baked by Yolanda Flores Woods. The 25 HA retirees all shared in conversation with their "retired" friends.

We spent Veterans Day honoring our heroes — first at Autumn Fields, and then at a special ceremony at the high school recognizing our local veterans. Grateful for all who have served! (A couple of Autumn Fields Veterans not in attendance)
