A Clarification for Those Considering Electrolysis ✨
🗣️ Clarifying recent information
There have been some recent posts circulating that may unintentionally give a misleading picture of what experience, availability, and results look like in electrolysis. I want to offer clarity from the perspective of those of us who have been doing this work for decades.
🎯 Why experience matters
For electrologists with 20+ years of experience, efficiency is often the result of refined technique, proper timing, and individualized treatment planning. Because of this, many long-established practitioners do not keep the same clients indefinitely—clients often complete their electrolysis journey more efficiently and move on.
📆 Openings don’t mean low demand
This is one reason experienced practices may have openings at times. It’s not a lack of demand—it’s successful outcomes. There is generally no need to post calendars or create the appearance of constant booking when results, referrals, and long-term reputation speak for themselves.
⏱️ Ethical scheduling matters
Responsible practices do not overbook and may intentionally limit or close schedules to ensure current clients receive treatments at the correct intervals. Bringing on new clients without the ability to maintain proper timing can slow progress and ultimately extend the overall process.
⏳ Timing + quality go hand in hand
When appointments are delayed due to overfilled schedules, hair can move into later growth stages, reducing effectiveness and causing clients to spend more time and money than necessary.
🌱 Experience speaks quietly
Experience doesn’t need to be proven through comparisons or appearances. It shows in outcomes, professionalism, and how clients are cared for over time.
