Stay safe, warm, and prepared this season!

✔️ Clear walkways & steps to prevent slips
✔️ Keep indoor temperatures at 68°F+
✔️ Dress in layers (hat, gloves, scarf, warm socks)
✔️ Check heating systems & space heaters for safety
✔️ Stock up on essentials (medications, water, pantry items)
✔️ Keep emergency contacts visible near the phone
✔️ Test smoke & carbon-monoxide detectors
✔️ Have extra blankets & flashlights ready
✔️ Stay hydrated — even in winter!

🎉 Our 50 Frozen Turkey Giveaway Was a Huge Success! 🦃✨

This past Thursday, JanCare Private Health Services was thrilled to spread holiday cheer and give back to our community during a time when many families are feeling the strain.

We proudly gave away 50 frozen turkeys and 50 $25 ShopRite gift cards to local families. And we didn’t stop there — any remaining turkeys were donated to wonderful community partners including:

• Dutchess Outreach
• St. Paul’s Food Pantry
• The VineYard Food Pantry
• Trinity Temple
• Wappingers Central School District

Wappingers Central School District shared that 76 families were in need of a turkey this holiday season, and we were grateful to donate 16 turkeys to help support those families.

Brrr… the cold is here! 🥶 Keep yourself — and your loved ones — safe and cozy with these quick reminders:

🧣 Layer Up! Dress in warm, loose layers and don’t forget hats, gloves, and scarves.
🚫 Stay Dry. Wet clothes can make you cold fast — change as soon as possible!
🧊 Watch for Ice. Keep walkways salted or sanded to prevent slips and falls.
🔥 Heat Safely. Use space heaters carefully — keep them away from flammable items and never leave them unattended.
🚗 Drive with Care. Slow down, keep extra distance, and make sure your car is winter-ready.
