✨ 2025 – A Year of Impact, Love, and Legacy ✨

As we look back on 2025, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. What started as a way to honor our sweet Lila has grown into a mission of hope for so many families walking a journey similar to ours.

This year, Lila’s Fund reached more families than ever before — providing gift cards to parents staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities, stocking family lounges at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital with warm cups of coffee through our Cups of Kindness program, and stepping in with Random Acts of Kindness when families needed unexpected support. Every small gesture carried Lila’s love forward.

Because of YOU — our donors, volunteers, sponsors, and community — we hosted successful events, raised vital funds, and brought comfort to families during some of their hardest days. None of this happens without your hearts, your hands, and your belief in our mission.

Lila’s Fund is more than a nonprofit. It is healing. It is remembrance. It is love in action.

As we step into a new year, we do so inspired, humbled, and committed to carrying Lila’s legacy even further.

Christmas will never be the same without our Lila here with us. The joy, the magic, the traditions—they all feel different when you feel like your family is incomplete, because the missing piece is in heaven.
Every year, instead of placing gifts under our tree for Lila, we donate her Christmas presents in her memory to Ronald McDonald House Charities West Michigan Ronald McDonald House Charities Ann Arbor and C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. It’s our way of honoring her, of making sure her love still reaches children and families who are spending the holidays in places no one ever imagines they’ll be.
We want to say thank you—from the bottom of our hearts—to everyone who donated presents in Lila’s memory. Your generosity helps us bear the weight of Christmas without her here. It gives purpose to our grief and reminds us that Lila’s light still shines.
Because of you, we’re able to keep the holiday spirit alive—not just for families facing unimaginable circumstances, but also for Amelia, as we do our best to hold onto joy while carrying Lila in our hearts.
Thank you for loving our girl, remembering her, and helping us carry her legacy forward.
