You are never truly lost
You are simply exploring

You are never truly alone
You are simply undergoing a season of solitude and isolation

And you are never truly abandoned
As those you love who have left this reality remain with you in spirit
And when people choose to walk away from you
It paves the way for you to discover those who are better able to appreciate you, are more aligned with you
And are capable of showing up for you as you deserve.

You may temporarily abandon yourself
You may momentarily stumble and fall
And make missteps and detours
And you may periodically
Find yourself questioning who you are
And what your place is in the world

But in time
You will rediscover your path
You will become reacquainted with your gifts, talents, strengths and purpose
And you will come back to yourself
And find your way home.

Sometimes it is not that you let go of things or people
But that they let go of you

And sometimes we fear losing ourselves
When they exit
As we feel that a part of ourselves leaves
Along with them when they do

But you can never truly lose yourself
As you are always there
And cannot run away from yourself
Or escape who you are

And all of those who you have ever loved
And all of the precious moments you have ever shared together
Will forever be imprinted in your memory
And will always remain a part of you.
