Our Paramedic Rob rarely likes the spotlight, but his family wanted to make sure his recent accomplishments didn’t go unnoticed!

In August, Rob earned his FP-C certification, and just a month later, he reached another huge milestone, completing 100 patient flights with the company!

To celebrate, his beautiful family; Celeste, Emmett, and Lincoln, had the honor of presenting him with his FP-C certificate and his 100-flight wings.

The Kentucky Air Medical Association extends its deepest condolences and unwavering support to Vanderbilt LifeFlight following today’s tragic helicopter crash. Our hearts go out to the crew members, their families, and the entire LifeFlight organization during this time of profound loss and sorrow.

The air medical community is built on courage, compassion, and commitment to others. When tragedy strikes one program, it affects us all. The Kentucky Air Medical Association stands in solidarity with Vanderbilt LifeFlight and offers our prayers and support in the difficult days ahead.

Today we honor every person who answers the call no matter the hour, weather, or circumstance.

To our firefighters, EMS providers, paramedics, law enforcement, dispatchers/911 operators, emergency nurses, and all medical transport teams—thank you. Your courage, compassion, and dedication change lives every single day.

And to our pilots, you may not always be recognized as “first responders,” but the work we do would not be possible without you. Your skill, judgment, and calm presence in the most critical moments are invaluable. We appreciate you, today and always.

The Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center is currently experiencing a critical shortage of type O Positive blood, with less than a 1 day supply remaining 🚨

If you are Type O Positive, please donate as soon as possible. If you do not know your blood type, it will be typed upon donation. The center is open for walk-in donations until 5:30 PM.

As the sole supplier of 10 local medical facilities, this shortage affects patients right here in our community.
