We do see clients who have difficulties in the areas of articulation, language, fluency, and/or voice. THE SPEECH SPOT was dreamed of and created when Sarah McGinnis, speech-language pathologist, observed a need in her hometown of Hopkinsville for private speech therapy and opened The Speech Spot. We are located at 1100 S Main St in downtown Hopkinsville, KY. We are across from US Bank and in the same building as The Corner Coffee Shop. The Speech Spot has grown and changed over the years. There are currently 5 Speech Language Pathologist at The Speech Spot location and is currently accepting new clients. The Speech Spot serves primarily children who have difficulties in the areas of articulation, receptive and/or expressive language, stuttering and voice. All the clinician combined have a wide variety of experience in the school, home health, hospital, KY First Steps and private practice settings. We all strive to provide our clients with quality, evidenced-based therapy tailored to meet the individual communication needs of each client. We are currently in-network for the following insurances: Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tricare, Cigna, Aetna, KY Medicaid and a self-pay option is also available.

Located in the 1910 Office Building on South Virginia Street in downtown Hopkinsville, The Speech Spot is currently accepting new clients. Sarah McGinnis, speech-language pathologist, observed a need in her hometown of Hopkinsville for private speech therapy and opened The Speech Spot. The Speech Spot serves primarily children who have difficulties in the areas of articulation, receptive and/or expressive language, stuttering, voice, and feeding/swallowing. Mrs. McGinnis has experience in the school, home health, and private practice settings and will strive to provide her clients with quality, evidenced-based therapy tailored to meet the individual communication needs of each client. We are currently in-network for the following insurances: Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Tricare, Medicaid plans and a self-pay option is also available.
