COLD OR FLU? HOW TO SPOT THE DIFFERENCE!
The common cold and seasonal flu can feel similar, but knowing the difference is key to getting the right care. Here's how to tell them apart:

COMMON COLD:
Gradual onset of symptoms
Nasal congestion, sneezing, and runny nose
Cough, mild headache, and minor body aches
Symptoms last about a week
Over-the-counter medications usually help

SEASONAL FLU:
Sudden and more severe symptoms
High-grade fever, headache, body aches, and fatigue
Dry cough, sore throat, and stuffy or runny nose
Symptoms improve in 2–5 days but can last longer
Prescription anti-viral drugs can reduce severity and duration
Seek medical advice if symptoms worsen or if you’re at higher risk (e.g., asthma, diabetes, pregnancy).

Trinity Health Center is here to help! We provide quality care for the working uninsured in DeSoto County, on a sliding scale.
If you're unsure about your symptoms, give us a call today at (662) 830-3827 to schedule an appointment with one of our medical professionals.

We were incredibly grateful for and their timely drop-off that arrived just before the snow and ice hit our community. ❄️

36 pallets of food and supplies were delivered, helping more than 100 families receive food and essential supply boxes when they needed it most. This impact will last far beyond the snow and ice, and we are so thankful to continue meeting the needs of our community with their generosity.

We are honored to partner with Convoy of Hope and are grateful for their faithfulness in showing up right on time. Helping our neighbors helps shape a stronger future for our community. 🤍
