🌟 Join us in Welcoming Kelsie Acor to St. James Hospital! 🌟
We’re excited to welcome Kelsie Acor as the new Manager of Human Resources at St. James Hospital!
Kelsie attended Alfred State and Alfred University, and later completed her master’s degree at Nazareth College in Rochester. She comes to us from the private nonprofit sector with a strong background in HR and finance.
Kelsie lives in Canisteo with her husband and their two children. Her family stays busy, inside and outside of work, and they also co‑own a local restaurant with close friends. When she’s not on the go, Kelsie loves traveling to new destinations, cooking and trying new recipes with her little helpers, or relaxing at home and binge‑watching a great TV series.
Kelsie is thrilled to join the St. James team and looks forward to getting to know everyone. 💙

💙 March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month
At St. James Hospital, we’re committed to raising awareness and empowering our community with the information needed to prevent, detect, and treat colorectal cancer.
Colorectal cancer is one of the most preventable cancers—and also one of the most treatable when found early. That’s why staying up to date with your screenings is so important.
Staying proactive can save lives and we’re here to help. St. James Hospital is able to accommodate colorectal cancer screenings within just four weeks, making it easier than ever to stay on top of your health.
If you’re due for a screening or have concerns, talk with your healthcare provider or contact St. James to get scheduled.
Let’s work together this March to spread awareness, encourage early detection, and support those impacted by colorectal cancer.

Our St. James Hospital Foundation Board hosted its annual Beat the Blues Gala last week! Thank you to our dedicated sponsors and supportive community members who continue to stand behind our mission.

Through events like this, the Foundation Board helps fund essential equipment and services for our hospital. Most recently, their efforts supported the purchase of a new mammography machine, an investment that will benefit patients across our region.
