"It gave me time to realize that I wasn't responsible for her recovery. I could not will her through this. It's so hard to let go, to release your child to God's good good goodness. To trust someone with your child. We have found ATCAR more than worthy of that trust. Whatever program, whatever recovery, whatever it needs to be, the sooner they can realize that they are the only one who can decide. That's how it was for Micha one day she realized "I need to do this"

We were praying at our ministry dance team practice and I felt this weight lift off of me. I forgave myself, and I forgave my daughter who is also battling addiction. Behind the scenes I’m always praying. I’ve been inviting them to church. They watch church live with me. Just me pressing on and staying clean and sober and keeping my eyes on God. Their dreams and prayers are coming true. I’ll send them quotes from scripture and songs. I sent my daughter, in addiction, a song my dance ministry is working on. I’m hoping that a glimmer of me doing so good will change her life.
