🧬✨ Celebrating National DNA Day in the sweetest way! ✨🧬

Today, we got a little hands-on with science (and a little sticky too 😄) as we built our very own DNA strands using Twizzlers and marshmallows! It was a fun and tasty way to explore what makes each of us unique.

But the excitement didn’t stop there… 🐾💙
We also had a special breed reveal for our service dog, and let’s just say—there were plenty of smiles, guesses, and happy surprises all around!

From learning about our own DNA to discovering more about our furry friend, the day was full of curiosity, connection, and celebration.

🌎 Happy Earth Day! 🌱

Today we celebrated by putting our brains to work and getting our hands a little dirty! We had a blast playing an Earth Day “word-in-a-word” game—finding as many hidden words as we could—and then revisited our science experiment where we buried different items to see what would (and wouldn’t) break down in the soil.

It was so exciting to dig everything up and discover the difference between biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials firsthand. Learning, exploring, and a little bit of surprise… the perfect way to honor our planet! 💚

A fresh, easy-to-make meal is one of the simple pleasures of spring, and this Spring Vegetable Frittata is as nourishing as it is delicious. 🥚 Packed with protein, vitamins, and seasonal flavors, it is a wonderful recipe to support senior wellbeing.

Ingredients
🥚 6 large eggs
🥚 1/4 cup milk
🥚 1 cup fresh spinach, roughly chopped
🥚 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
🥚 1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
🥚 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
🥚 1 tablespoon olive oil
🥚 Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
✅ Preheat the oven to 375°F.
✅ In a bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk, then season with salt and pepper.
✅ Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
✅ Add the bell pepper and cook for 2 minutes, then stir in the spinach until wilted.
✅ Add the cherry tomatoes and pour the egg mixture evenly over the vegetables.
✅ Sprinkle feta cheese over the top and cook on the stovetop for 2 to 3 minutes until the edges begin to set.
✅ Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the frittata is fully set.
✅ Allow to cool for a few minutes, slice into portions, and serve warm. 🌿

No matter the score, everyone walked away a winner—because moments like these are what community is all about!
