Tomorrow is our next Community IMPACT team meeting from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fraser Library. Spanish speakers are encouraged to attend online for simultaneous English/Spanish interpretation.

House PTC Enhancement Bill Passed
Yesterday, the House of Representatives passed a bill that would extend the premium tax credit enhancements (which expired at the end of 2025) for three years. For these changes to take effect, the Senate would also have to pass the bill.
We’ll continue to keep you posted on Congressional action to extend PTC enhancements as it progresses.

It may be a new year, but we have the same old problems. Millions of Americans are struggling to pay for basic needs and healthcare.

Congress has a critical opportunity to provide relief to working families by extending the enhanced health insurance tax credits. A clean, three-year extension would make coverage more affordable at a time when many households are feeling the strain of rising costs.

As lawmakers consider their next steps, we urge solutions that protect access to care and support affordability. Addressing healthcare affordability requires action. Talk is cheap, but healthcare isn't.
