Good luck to our MTU EMS candidate class as they take their psychomotor exam today!

The psychomotor is the hands-on portion of EMS certification, where candidates demonstrate critical skills like patient assessment, airway management, trauma care, and more in real-life scenarios.

We’re proud of the work this group has put in to get here and wish them the best today. 👏

From sunset to sunrise, our EMTs were out in the cold making sure Winter Carnival stayed safe and fun.

We may be a little sleep-deprived, but we wouldn’t trade this tradition for anything. Thank you to everyone who braved the snow and subzero temps with us — we hope you enjoyed Winter Carnival!❄️

With the first month of 2026 having just come to a close, we are so excited to announce that Ashley Delie is our EMT of the Month for January!🎉

Ashley has shown such a deep commitment to each patient on every call, and she is such a massive asset to our team. Congratulations, Ashley!

Halfway through the first week of the spring semester and still reflecting on fall commencement🥹

Congratulations again to our three EMT graduates and all the hard work that went into last semester. As we settle into a new routine and welcome a new term, we’re so excited for what’s ahead and ready for another busy few months at MTU EMS!

For our final feature, we’re celebrating Grace Hay, from the 2023-2024 EMS class. Grace has been an incredibly dedicated member of our agency and a supportive teammate throughout her time with us.

She will be attending the University of Dayton next August to pursue her path to becoming a physician assistant. We know she’ll make an incredible PA and continue helping others wherever she goes.💛🖤

Congratulations to all our graduating seniors! Thank you for your service to our campus community and best luck in your next adventures — we are so proud of you!

Classes might be done for the semester, but our coverage doesn’t stop! Our crew will still be on duty through finals and winter break, ready to respond when our campus community needs us.

As you head into finals week and then into the holidays, stay safe and take care of each other. Thank you to every member of our team for stepping up this semester — through snowstorms, late-night calls, and busy schedules, you’ve kept our campus in good hands!

With the last day of fall classes upon us, it is time to continue our senior spotlights!✨

Today we’re highlighting Tara Estrada, a member of the 2024-2025 EMS class. Tara has been a valued part of our team, always bringing positivity to every shift and stepping up when it matters most.

After graduation, Tara will be heading to Iowa State University to work as an audio-visual installer. We’re excited to see the amazing things this next chapter will bring!🎊🎓

As we get ready for graduation next week, we’re excited to highlight our three graduating seniors and celebrate everything they’ve brought to our agency.

We’re starting with Nicholas Detterman, from the 2023-2024 EMS class. Nick has served our agency as a sergeant, bringing leadership, dedication, and a calm presence to every scene. We’re incredibly proud to share that he will be attending Michigan State University College of Human Medicine next fall! 🎉🩺
