It is the mission of the Copper County Mental Health Services Board to ensure that appropriate, cost-efficient, and quality behavioral health services are accessible to person in Baraga, Houghton, Keweenaw, and Ontonagon Counties. In the service of its mission Copper Country Mental Health will strive to provide a comprehensive array of behavioral health services for persons living within its four county catchment area. The continuum of services are intended to increase the independence, improve the quality of life, and support community integration and inclusion of the persons served. Service is tailored to the needs of the consumers.

Did you know that October is Guardianship Awareness Month? Guardians are appointed by the court to help individuals make decisions about finances, living arrangements, medical issues, and other important matters. Without a guardian, these individuals would be unable to receive the care and support they need. Guardians are typically family members, but they can also be people who want to dedicate time and energy to ensuring that those they serve have lives of maximum freedom and independence.
