The Homestead Assisted Living The Homestead Assisted Living provides the newest and most luxurious affordable housing in Houma, Louisiana situated at 1132 Cottage Drive.

Our mission is to provide a beautiful home for you and help you remain as independent as possible while retaining personal dignity as you age in place. Providing the lifestyle you deserve with the services you want is our goal. The Homestead contains 56 luxury apartments. Studio, one and two bedroom apartments ranging in size from 426 to 749 square feet are available, allowing residents a choice i

n accommodations. Residents have convenient access to the Homestead's main dining room. A private dining room is available for personal functions. The Homestead provides state of the art security features including 24-Hour security, emergency call systems in each apartment with smoke detectors and sprinkler systems. Complementary transportation to public facilities and medical appointments is available. Daily social activities are planned and supervised by our own activities coordinator. The Homestead's Health and Personal Care Services provides residents with medical supervision, medical appointment scheduling and coordination of care with resident's personal physician. Assistance with activities of daily living is available from The Homestead's Personal Care Staff as well as Housekeeping and Laundry Services. The Homestead's amenities include social, craft, and multipurpose areas, a Beauty Salon, Library, and Chapel, which is always available for quiet refection.
