It’s Winter Safety Month! ❄️💚
Here are 5 simple tips to help our seniors stay safe, cozy, and cared for all season long:
• Wear warm layers like sweaters, socks, and blankets to stay comfortable indoors.
• Use your call bell if you need help moving around—especially if floors may be wet or slippery.
• Stay hydrated and enjoy warm drinks to keep your body regulated.
• Join indoor activities to stay active without braving the cold.
• Let staff know if you feel chilly, drafty, or notice any heater issues.
Staying warm, safe, and supported all winter long—that’s the YAD way! 💚❄️

Wellsprings at Amelia Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, with nearby rolling meadows and fence-lined pastures, overlooks the natural beauty of Amelia County. Conveniently located 30 miles southwest of Richmond, our residents remain connected to family and friends and maintain life-long ties with the people they love. We offer skilled nursing care and extensive rehabilitation services for residents who are unable to immediately return home following a hospital stay for illness, injury or surgery. We provide care that allows our residents to recover and return home. For patients unable to return home, we also offer long term care. We strive to meet all of our residents’ physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual needs.
