Sydnecia earned her Master of Education Degree in Counseling Development with a concentration in Marriage, Couple and Family Counseling from Lamar University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate in the state of Texas. As a therapist associate Sydnecia provides individual counseling to adolescents 14+, young adults 18+, adults 25+ in addition; to families and couples with varying concerns including su***de ideation, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, major depressive disorder, women’s issues, and elderly transitions.

📋 Job Description: As a Mental Health Therapist with us, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions. You'll be responsible for conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, documenting progress and offering individualized counseling sessions to address various mental health concerns.

👉 Requirements:
• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• License: Current clinical license (LPC-A, LMFT-A, LMSW-A, LPC, LMFT, LCSW) per state of practice guidelines. Must have taken and passed all required licensing exams. No open licensing board complaints and no probated or restricted licensure.
• Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and create a safe therapeutic environment.
• Empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to adapt to different therapeutic formats, including in-person, remote (telehealth), or hybrid sessions.
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends to accommodate clients' schedules.
