Siempre pensé que sería cirujano cardíaco… hasta que vi lo que implicaba esa vida. Pasaba horas con grandes maestros de la cirugía, pero ninguno tenía tiempo para ver a sus hijos jugar, ir a eventos o compartir momentos en familia.
Y yo no quería eso para mí.
Seguí en cirugía porque siempre quise ser cirujano, pero probé cada especialidad hasta encontrar la que realmente encajaba conmigo.
Ahí descubrí la cirugía plástica.
No es blanco o negro como las demás.
Es gris.
Es creatividad, visión y la libertad de crear distintos planes para un mismo caso porque cada paciente tiene necesidades únicas.
Y lo que más me llena es ver la expresión de mis pacientes cuando ven su resultado por primera vez.
Eso es lo que me hizo elegir esta especialidad… y lo que me sigue enamorando cada día.
