Is it just me or did this year fly by like a time-lapse video?

Here are two things I’m taking from 2025 as I head into 2026:

Lesson 1: If I don’t slow down and make time for the little things, they’ll pass by without me even noticing.

Lesson 2: Unless I’m super intentional about the big things, I won’t get them done.

The good news? I can work on both by being more deliberate about how I spend my time. Afterall, the older I get, the more precious time becomes...

The *real* good news is the gift of looking back on a year that flew by and realizing that I get to decide what the next one feels like!

Here’s to making 2026 a banner year all around!

Resolutions don’t create change…. but habits do!

For folks over 55 working on improving health, the easiest way to set yourself up for a fitter 2026 isn’t with a crash plan.

It’s with consistent daily deposits.

→ Reflect → Choose your actions → Set up your environment for success → Add accountability

Small steps lead you to big results later.

What’s one new habit, action, or goal you’re going to be working on in 2026?

Drop me a DM and let me know. I love hearing what you’re working toward!

It’s tempting to curl up and stay indoors all winter, but even a quick walk outside has lots of healthy benefits for us 'older' folks.

🌬️ The cold air wakes you up and feels refreshing. (Especially if you're the type to get hot flashes.)

⏱️ You can often exercise longer without overheating, thereby boosting your endurance.

☀️ Sunlight supports mood, vitamin D, and your sleep cycles. (all of which we could improve upon)

🛡️ Regular exercise outdoors strengthens your immune system.

🤔 I'm curious ... 💬 Do you love winter walks, or do you need a little push to get out the door?

Let’s talk about our favorite holiday traditions!

Here’s one of mine, and I love it because it takes absolutely no planning, no baking, and no deep-cleaning the house for company! 😜

And we always end up laughing and having a great time.

what I'm talking about is walking the neighborhood or jumping into the car to drive around looking at Christmas lights.

It’s silly, stress-free, and one of those things I look forward to.

👉 What’s one of your favorite traditions!?

The holidays don’t have to leave you feeling wired, tired, bloated, or desperate for it all to be over.

For folks over 50 struggling to find time for their own self-care, these simple daily swaps make all the difference between cruising through the holidays and feeling like you might crash.

Plus, they’ll carry you into 2026 feeling strong, refreshed, and in command of the year ahead.

A few years back, I had to take a break from my strength-training because of an (unrelated!) injury.

Coming back was hard. Like, really hard.

Most coaches won’t tell you this, but motivation doesn’t always come naturally, not even to us. Sometimes we have to rebuild it just like everyone else.

I could think of about 5,000 other things I could have been doing…

It wasn’t that I didn’t like taking a break from working out. It was more like I didn’t feel the momentum or the instant payoff anymore!

But I knew that once I started, just by being consistent with my workouts, I’d build that motivation back up.

And it did!

If you’re struggling to “get back to it,” hang in there! It’s not easy, but it won’t be long before you’re looking forward to doing those workouts again.

I promise!

👉 Tell me: have you ever had to come back from a break? What helped you restart?

Staying healthy over the holidays usually goes like this:

❌ “No sugar!”

❌ “No fun!”

❌ “Just survive December so I can get back on track…”

Yeah... hard pass. 🙅♀️

If you want to feel GOOD this month — without giving up all the things that make it fun — I’ve got something for you. 🎄

And is a free, flexible way to stay on track without burning out or falling off track with your goals.
