✨COMMUNITY BABY SHOWER UPDATE✨

Our initial goal is to serve at least 50 women.
Registration was full and closed within 2 hours. We received an overwhelming amount of requests to open up more spots.

Through the genorosity of my church family, our partners, and other donated items, and monetary donations, and support from you all, we opened up another (50)spots which closed in less than ‼️1 hour‼️.
⛔️REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED⛔️ but we hope to continue to raise support to be able to host this again and also provide necessary resources to those in need.

I want to say a major thank you to my community at for being the first I shared this vision with and for being the first ones to purchase items from the registry and support. Every mother deserves to feel supported as she prepares to welcome new life. 🤍

Through the LiliDoula Merry Mommy Initiative , we are honored to host our first Community Baby Shower in partnership with . We are dedicated to blessing expecting mothers in our community with essential baby and maternity items.

Our goal is to serve at least 50 women, providing resources, encouragement, and practical items to help them prepare for their babies. With enough donations and community support, we hope to expand and serve even more mothers. 💕

Who you decide to bring a baby into the world with MATTERS! It matters before, during, and after! Please be prayerful, be confident and I’ll say be in covenant because it matters. I know this is not everyone’s story and that’s okay! There is grace and that baby is still a beautiful blessing!

But when making lifelong decisions like this, consult with God, your community, and use the gift of discernment. This directly impacts your experience through fertility,
pregnancy, postpartum and beyond!

I say this with so much love because you and your child deserve to be loved WELL! 🙏🏾🩷🩷🩷

Birth is holy.

Not just medical.
Not just biological.

It is sacred. Miraculous. God-designed.

No matter how many births I attend, it never becomes mundane. Whether my clients deliver unmedicated, medicated, vaginally, or by cesarean, it is still powerful. Still worthy of honor. Still worthy of celebration.

As a birth worker, being welcomed into a birthing space is something I never take lightly. These moments create lifelong bonds. They are intimate. Transformational. Holy.

Be mindful of who you invite into that space. It matters.

I decided to do the beads challenge (pink =girl blue=boy) I’ve seen alot of L&D nurses do.
I wanted to be intentional in how I thanked God going into my 5th year as a business owner and most importantly a vessel for God.

I have tried to not get caught up in the numbers and just do the assignment placed at my feet, but God showed me that I needed to really count my blessings and I’m so glad that I did because my heart has been so full and I’m in awe of God.

By the special grace of God, the nervous “yes” I gave God on 2/2/21 has become almost 200 little miracles on the earth. 🥹😭😭😭..and that’s from what I could count…
I honestly can’t even count them all. I couldn’t fit them all in this video, but I hope this gives you all a picture of the gift I’ve been given through LiliDoula Birth services.

God has been so good! I’m so grateful to every family that has trusted me to embark on such a special journey with them. Words fail me, but please know you’ll always have a special place in my heart. I love you all so much!

I want to take this moment to also be transparent for anyone who may be discouraged out there. This did not come easy and it’s still challenging. But God has been faithful through every season. Through moments of doubt, imposter syndrome, health challenges, financial hardships, and trauma from the things I’ve encountered advocating for these families. Through it all, God has been near and He has kept His word. So if you’re in a tough season, please don’t give up.

Take a moment to count your blessings..
I bet you won’t be able to count them all. 🥹🙌🏾
