I decided to do the beads challenge (pink =girl blue=boy) I’ve seen alot of L&D nurses do.
I wanted to be intentional in how I thanked God going into my 5th year as a business owner and most importantly a vessel for God.

I have tried to not get caught up in the numbers and just do the assignment placed at my feet, but God showed me that I needed to really count my blessings and I’m so glad that I did because my heart has been so full and I’m in awe of God.

By the special grace of God, the nervous “yes” I gave God on 2/2/21 has become almost 200 little miracles on the earth. 🥹😭😭😭..and that’s from what I could count…
I honestly can’t even count them all. I couldn’t fit them all in this video, but I hope this gives you all a picture of the gift I’ve been given through LiliDoula Birth services.

God has been so good! I’m so grateful to every family that has trusted me to embark on such a special journey with them. Words fail me, but please know you’ll always have a special place in my heart. I love you all so much!

I want to take this moment to also be transparent for anyone who may be discouraged out there. This did not come easy and it’s still challenging. But God has been faithful through every season. Through moments of doubt, imposter syndrome, health challenges, financial hardships, and trauma from the things I’ve encountered advocating for these families. Through it all, God has been near and He has kept His word. So if you’re in a tough season, please don’t give up.

Take a moment to count your blessings..
I bet you won’t be able to count them all. 🥹🙌🏾

Today LiliDoula Birth Services turns 5.😭
Words truly fail me. All I can say is thank you Jesus! 5 years of God’s fulfilled promise in my life. 5 years of helping babies enter this world and supporting families in one of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. 5 years of loving and holding the mother. 5 years of advocating, praying, and witnessing the miraculous work of the Lord through birth.

This milestone is worth WAY more celebration so I’ll be taking the WHOLE MONTH to mark this milestone.

Thank you to every client, family that had trusted me to walk in my calling and to everyone who has supported me one way or another. God bless and I am so expectant for all that is to come!

Why do we do this?
We know we can ask God for help, but instead we avoid that and go with our own abilities, our own desires, our own direction…and where does that lead us?!

When it comes to motherhood, we create timelines and expectations that only cause more pressure and frustration instead of just surrendering to God and asking Him for help!

This is another reason why I wrote the song “Yield”
(Link in bio) so we can have a constant reminder to surrender to the Lord and Yield to His voice. He will not lead us astray. 🙏🏾🙏🏾

His word is clear, when we seek Him, we will find Him. (Matthew 7:7) and Psalm 121 is one of my favorites because it’s a reminder that we can look unto the Lord for He is our help!

So mama, whether you’re on a fertility journey, pregnant, or trying to navigate postpartum and taking care of your children, remember that you can ask your Heavenly Father to help you! His burden is light! You can ask Him for the grace to get through ANY situation and circumstance!

Being a woman and bearing witness to birth year after year has only deepened my awe of God.
To carry life, grow life, and bring life into the world without losing your own can only be described as a ✨miracle.✨

Mothers know this in their bones.
Whether you carried yourself, walked alongside a surrogate journey, or stood close to birth in any way, being born is no small thing. And what it costs the body? That’s a whole testimony on its own.

Today, I’m choosing to share a space for gratitude over fear.
Because if you made it to the other side of childbirth, you are a walking, breathing miracle.

I want to hold space right here for reflection and thanksgiving.

✨THE POWER OF A SEED✨(FULL VIDEO)

Moments before sharing, the enemy tried to keep me quiet by causing fear to try to entrap me. I struggled with sharing something so heavy and vulnerable with the world. This had been such a private and intimate fight, but I knew I needed to be obedient and share this victory, and give God the glory He deserves. I’m also very grateful for my team in that moment, thank you for speaking truth in that moment and for also being such a constant.

The journey of beating breast cancer 🎗️was not easy and was full of moments of doubt and fear. It took a lot of faith and believing that God would fulfill His word and keep me.
Much like a seed…

A seed starts small and when planted into the ground, we don’t know what happens while it’s in process. It gets stepped on, trampled, and so much more. All we can do is trust the process and be faithful in watering and nurturing the seed the best we can.

But God is faithful to His word, and in due season, that seed can grow into a beautiful garden full of fruit, blooming beauty, and fulfilled promises.
And that is my testimony. GOD DIDDD IT!!!

And now I cannot wait for you all to see all that God is doing and is yet to do with my seeds of faith and resilience for MANY MANY MORE YEARS TO COME!
This next chapter is for recovery, restoration, and redemption. 🙌🏾✨
