The rain has stopped and I am seeing the fullness of leaves just bathed outside the window. Lani and Kai are lying next to me sleeping. I can hear their breathing, and it brings calm and ease to my nervous system.

Like a new bud, mindfulness blooms slowly…and in time there are flowers, and more flowers.

There are times when the flowers are dormant, quiet, still.

Can we find stillness in this moment?

To be with what is here now, just as it is? Yes, no, and maybe.
