One of the most common questions I get is whether you can eat with Invisalign. The short answer is yes but not with the trays in. Soft foods might be manageable, but for most meals, you’ll want to remove your trays, eat, brush, and then put them back in.

Pro tip: never wrap them in a napkin at a restaurant. That’s how they get lost.

Not loving your Invisalign results as much as you expected? You are not alone, and it does not mean treatment failed.

There are two common reasons patients may need an Invisalign revision. The first is teeth shifting after treatment, often from not wearing retainers consistently. Trust me, I have been there. The second is reaching the end of your trays and realizing your teeth are almost perfect, but not quite. This happens more often than people think, and the fix is usually simple.

A quick scan and a few additional trays can help fine tune your results and get your smile exactly where it should be. If something feels off or you are not fully happy with your outcome, it is worth getting it checked.

Dental bonding is one of my favorite treatments because it is quick, effective, and creates a beautiful result with minimal work. On average, bonding lasts 7 to 10 years and its lifespan depends on habits like grinding, chewing very hard foods, or drinking a lot of coffee and red wine. Since bonding is an acrylic material, it can chip or stain over time, but with good care it can last for many years.
