𩸠Nosebleed? Letās talk about it.
Epistaxis (aka a nosebleed) is common ā especially in dry weather, allergy season, or with frequent nose blowing. Most nosebleeds come from the front of the septum and look dramatic⦠but arenāt dangerous.
š What to do:ļæ½āļø Lean FORWARD (not back!)ļæ½āļø Pinch the soft part of your noseļæ½āļø Hold steady pressure for 10 full minutesļæ½āļø Avoid checking too soon
š« Donāt tilt your head back.ļ潚« Donāt stuff tissue high inside the nose.
If youāre having frequent nosebleeds, heavy bleeding, or bleeding that lasts more than 20 minutes, itās time for an ENT evaluation. Sometimes dryness, septal deviation, or fragile blood vessels are the real cause.
