Politics aside, when it comes to your birth and your baby, use caution to make an informed choice. One of the best tools we doulas encourage is using your B.R.A.I.N. anytime a decision comes up:

🧠 B – What are the Benefits?
🧠 R – What are the Risks?
🧠 A – What are the Alternatives?
🧠 I – What does your Intuition say?
🧠 N – What if we do Nothing right now?

This little acronym can be a lifesaver when you’re feeling overwhelmed, and helps navigating your birth journey. 💕

🚨⬇️ This is the Harvard recommendation on acetaminophen use during pregnancy, referred to yesterday by President Trump and Secretary Kennedy.

A rigorous review of 46 studies by Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health found an association between prenatal acetaminophen exposure and increased neurodevelopmental disorder risk, strongest with use over 4 weeks.

While they say causality isn’t confirmed, caution—especially with heavy/prolonged use—is warranted.

My baby boy Thomas was born in the first minutes of last Saturday Nov 3rd at 12:06am, 39 weeks on the dot. He weighted 8pd 4oz and measured 21in. Born at home in the water in the presence of siblings and our dear midwife Sandra. Dad was mom’s rock!
We are both doing well and our family is in love❤️ God is good all the time!
It is going to be a while before I go back to doula work:)
