Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM): Stay informed about local emergency updates and recovery efforts from the TDEM. Visit their website at tdem.texas.gov for more information.

Travel Information: TxDOT encourages the traveling public to stay off the roads during and immediately after inclement weather. However, if you must travel, do so with caution, and check road conditions and closures at https://drivetexas.org.

Local Shelters and Relief Centers: If you need immediate shelter or assistance, please contact your local emergency management office or visit the Red Cross website at redcross.org for shelter locations and additional support services.

Health and Safety: Remember to take necessary precautions to protect your health during recovery efforts. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides guidelines for staying safe during and after a hurricane at cdc.gov.

Disaster Assistance
If you have lost your home in Hurricane Beryl, call the American Red Cross at 1-800-733-2767.

While FEMA assistance for Beryl victims has not been announced, you can visit DisasterAssistance.org or call 1-800-621-3362 with questions.

Food Assistance
Houston Food Bank said it is closely monitoring conditions and will provide relief through its 1,600 community partners across SE Texas.

If you need food assistance, please call 832-369-9390. You can also click here to find free food assistance in your area.

Houston Food Bank has partners in Harris, Fort Bend, Galveston, Montgomery, Austin, Brazoria, Brazos, Burleson, Chambers, Grimes, Liberty, Madison, Robertson, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller and Washington counties.

Matagorda Co. and Surrounding Areas

Food Bank of the Golden Crescent is working on its aid plan for neighbors impacted by Beryl.

It serves 11 counties, including Calhoun, Colorado, DeWitt, Goliad, Gonzales, Jackson, Lavaca, Matagorda, Refugio, Wharton and Victoria.
