The biggest barrier to in-office allergy care isn’t clinical — it’s operational.
Most physicians I speak with already understand the value of allergy testing.
The hesitation usually sounds like:
➡️ “We don’t have time.”
➡️ “It will disrupt flow.”
➡️ “My staff is already overloaded.”
And those concerns are valid.
The practices that successfully integrate allergy care do three things:
1️⃣ Keep workflows simple
2️⃣ Minimize staff burden
3️⃣ Maintain continuity with the primary provider
When implementation is built around existing processes — not added on top — adoption becomes much easier.
Clinical success often starts with operational simplicity.
What workflow barriers do you see most often when new clinical services are introduced?
