About Me,

I am a native of Taiwan, came to States as adolescent, with the ability to conduct therapy fluently in the Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese, and English. I have been a full-time worker, graduate student and a mother of 2, chose a career change from Engineering to Business and to Behavioral Science. I am empathetic with life/work balance issues, such as stress/time management, and career transition/satisfaction. Iris has the core goal of empowering individuals, couples and families to make healthy, positive changes in their professional and personal lives.

I have extensive experience working with families with elderly, couples, disabilities member(s) or with special needs, at-risk adolescents, and college students. My therapeutic practices are solution focused, narrative, integrated, cognitive-behavioral, collaborative, client-centered, goal and emotionally-focused, with a family systems and structure therapy basis.

I am interested in working with clients of diverse ethnicity, ages, genders, backgrounds, and situations. My professional training assist me in helping clients working through issues of marital/sexual satisfaction, anxiety, depression, geriatrics/aging, communication, acceptance, parenting, relationship, identity, generational/cultural, values/conflicts, immigration and international marriages.
