Brachial plexus injuries, whether from birth or trauma, can affect the nerves unevenly.
🔸The upper nerves are usually injured more severely than the lower ones. This can limit shoulder movement, making it difficult to lift the arm upward or outward.
🔹Lower nerves control major muscles like the chest and back and are less commonly affected. Muscle imbalances can also involve the biceps and triceps, reducing overall arm function.
Muscle imbalances can be treated – there’s hope for better movement and stronger arms! ✨
