What causes a winged scapula? ⤵️

It’s usually not just one factor. Sports, injuries, muscle imbalance, nerve irritation and even repetitive daily movements can contribute to it.

A winged scapula often appears gradually, and many people don’t notice it until shoulder function starts to change.

If you’re experiencing winging or shoulder weakness, a proper evaluation can help identify the cause and guide you toward the right treatment 🩺

Sometimes even a small injury can quietly affect how your body moves. But if, after a fall or sports injury, your foot feels weak or you struggle to lift it, it could be a sign of foot drop 👣

This often happens when the peroneal or sciatic nerve is affected. The sooner it’s identified, the better the recovery outcomes.

❗️Don’t ignore the signs, with the right care, improvement is possible. If you’d like to learn more or make an inquiry,

Many adults live for years compensating for weakness caused by an old birth injury (OBPI). They’ve adapted but adaptation isn’t recovery.

Modern nerve reconstruction can still offer meaningful improvements in strength and movement, even decades later.

Brachial plexus injuries, whether from birth or trauma, can affect the nerves unevenly.

🔸The upper nerves are usually injured more severely than the lower ones. This can limit shoulder movement, making it difficult to lift the arm upward or outward.

🔹Lower nerves control major muscles like the chest and back and are less commonly affected. Muscle imbalances can also involve the biceps and triceps, reducing overall arm function.

Muscle imbalances can be treated – there’s hope for better movement and stronger arms! ✨

TRIANGLE TILT SURGERY⬇️

Traditional soft tissue surgeries often don’t fix the bone deformities caused by muscle imbalances. That’s where Triangle Tilt comes in!

This unique surgery, developed by Dr. Nath’s team, corrects the bones of the shoulder to improve positioning, strength, and function – something no other procedure does. Studies show patients experience better shoulder rotation, mobility, and overall function after Triangle Tilt ✨
